Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

This document contains two separate agreements: the Privacy Policy (how we handle your information) and the Terms of Use (the rules for using our service). Both apply when you use HailMatch.

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 21, 2026

1. Introduction

HailMatch ("HailMatch," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, submit a request through our matching form, or otherwise interact with our service, and how we use, share, and protect that information.

By using HailMatch, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Who We Are

HailMatch is a service that connects vehicle owners in Texas with independent auto hail repair shops in our network ("Repair Partners"). We are not a repair shop ourselves and we are not an insurance company, agent, or adjuster.

In some sections below, the term "we" includes both HailMatch and the Repair Partner that has been matched with you — particularly once you have agreed to move forward with a repair. Each section makes clear when sharing with a Repair Partner occurs.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you submit our matching form or otherwise contact us, you may provide:

  • Your name
  • Phone number
  • ZIP code
  • Vehicle information (such as make, model, year, and condition)
  • Photos of damage
  • Insurance carrier and claim information
  • Pickup or delivery address
  • Any other information you choose to share with us or a Repair Partner

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the site
  • Referring website
  • Cookie and similar tracking data

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Match you with a Repair Partner in your area
  • Contact you about your repair request, including by phone call and text message
  • Coordinate vehicle pickup, repair, and delivery
  • Assist with insurance claim coordination if requested
  • Improve our website, marketing, and service
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Prevent fraud and protect our rights

5. How We Share Your Information

With Repair Partners. When you submit our matching form, you authorize us to share your contact information with one or more Repair Partners in your area so they can reach out to you about your repair. If you decide to move forward with a repair, additional information you provide — such as vehicle details, photos, pickup or delivery addresses, and insurance information — will also be shared with the Repair Partner handling your job.

With service providers. We share information with vendors who help us operate our business, such as website hosting, analytics, advertising, and communications providers. These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services for us.

For legal reasons. We may share information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business transfers. If HailMatch is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Communications and Consent

By providing your phone number to HailMatch, you expressly consent to receive phone calls and text messages from HailMatch and Repair Partners regarding your repair request, scheduling, status updates, and related communications. These communications may be made using automated systems.

Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by emailing us at info@hailmatch.com. You may opt out of phone calls by telling us during a call or by emailing the address above. Opting out of marketing communications will not affect transactional messages necessary to complete a repair already in progress.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some features of the site.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it.

9. Your Rights

Texas residents. Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Obtain a portable copy of your personal data
  • Opt out of the sale of personal data or targeted advertising

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@hailmatch.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by law. You also have the right to appeal any decision we make about your request.

10. Children's Privacy

HailMatch is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact info@hailmatch.com so we can remove it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from our service.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of HailMatch after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.

Terms of Use

Effective Date: April 21, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HailMatch — including our website, matching form, phone communications, or any related service — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. About HailMatch

HailMatch is a service that connects vehicle owners with independent auto hail repair shops ("Repair Partners") in Texas. HailMatch itself does not perform repair work, employ technicians, or own repair facilities. We are also not an insurance company, agent, broker, or public adjuster, and we do not provide insurance advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the legal owner (or authorized representative of the owner) of the vehicle you are submitting for repair. By using HailMatch, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. Authorization to Share Your Information

When you submit our matching form, you authorize HailMatch to share your contact information with one or more Repair Partners so they can reach out to you. If you decide to move forward with a repair, you further authorize HailMatch and the Repair Partner to share information necessary to complete the job, including vehicle details, photos, pickup and delivery addresses, and insurance information. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

5. Communications Consent

By providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive phone calls and text messages from HailMatch and Repair Partners about your repair request, scheduling, status, and related matters. These messages may be sent using automated systems. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or email info@hailmatch.com.

6. The Service Is a Match — Not a Repair Contract

HailMatch's role is limited to introducing you to a Repair Partner. Any repair work is performed under a separate agreement directly between you and the Repair Partner. HailMatch is not a party to that repair agreement and does not control, supervise, warrant, or guarantee:

  • The quality, timing, cost, or outcome of any repair
  • The Repair Partner's compliance with any law, license, or insurance requirement
  • Any communications, conduct, or representations of the Repair Partner
  • Any outcome with your insurance carrier, including claim approval, payment, or deductible coverage

Vehicle pickup, transport, and delivery. From the moment your vehicle is picked up until it is returned to you, the Repair Partner has sole responsibility for the vehicle. This includes care, custody, and control of the vehicle and all liability for any damage, loss, theft, or injury occurring during pickup, transport, storage at the shop, repair, or delivery.

Deductible. Your insurance deductible is your responsibility under your policy. Any deductible assistance, discount, or other arrangement is offered solely at the discretion of the Repair Partner, on terms set by the Repair Partner. HailMatch does not offer, promise, guarantee, or administer any deductible assistance.

7. Insurance Claims and No Insurance Advice

HailMatch does not provide insurance advice, does not act on behalf of any insurance company, and is not a public adjuster. We do not negotiate with insurance carriers on your behalf.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to provide false information, submit requests for vehicles you do not own, or use our service to harass or defraud any person.

9. Intellectual Property

The HailMatch name, logo, website design, and content are owned by HailMatch and protected by intellectual property laws.

10. Disclaimers

THE HAILMATCH SERVICE AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT ANY MATCH WILL RESULT IN A SUCCESSFUL REPAIR OR INSURANCE CLAIM.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAILMATCH AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HailMatch from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of your use of the service or breach of these Terms.

13. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute relating to these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in Texas, and you waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
